Seminar Recent Advances in Geometry Processing (MA-INF 2229, 4CP)
The introductory meeting (for all courses of the visual computing department) will be on October 9th, 14:00 over zoom. Please write an email to kneiphof at cs.uni-bonn.de for the link.
Topics
The topics of this seminar range over different recent publications in the area of geometry processing which includes 3D reconstruction, sketching applications, different geometry representations etc. The final presentation should present the method and findings of each paper on a level that is understandable for a non-expert with a computer science background (e.g. fellow students).

Participation
If you would like to participate in the seminar, please write an email to laehner at uni-bonn.de until October 14th with up to three of your top three choices from above. You will work on preparing a presentation and report during the semester, meet with your supervisor at least once (although more often is encouraged), and give the final presentation at the end of the semester. Participation in all final presentations of the seminar is mandatory.
